Missy believes in sticking to what's written in the Scriptures. However, sometimes as a creator, one has to fill in the blank. For example: In the book of Genesis, after Cain messed up and the Lord dealt with him, Cain left and moved to Nod. Furthermore, he got married. Therefore, Nod existed but it's not written what the people were like in that town. Moreover, Cain's wife's name is unknown. So in that case, Missy would have to fill in the pieces by creating Cain's wife's personality, perhaps what the town was like etc. So Missy does take artistic liberty as needed. Her goal is to make sure the story is told well and insights wonder as she does believe that God is wonderful.
You'll be delivered the score via PDF song sheets and guide .mp3 recordings (vocal + guitar, or vocal + keys etc). This delivery style is because not everyone can read notated music. So what you'll get for each song sheet is the lyrics and the chord symbols for the chart. That way your Music Director can read along and hear the track for orchestration purposes.
However, if you purchase the band track add-on, then you'll receive .mp3 recordings with band arrangement for orchestration assistance.
That's going to depend on each piece of music. To go over what you're thinking, Missy will discuss with you what you'd like to do as she loves music and orchestrating. Typically, as long as you're not completely altering the melody of the music number, you can orchestrate as needed.
Due to each musical being Missy's IP (intellectual property), you cannot modify the script and score without her permission.
Please book a call before purchasing your subscription. Simply because some Bible stories are short which is fine but you may need to discuss what happened before or after that particular story in order to fill out/write a complete show.
As many as you'd like! Just keep in mind that Missy can only write one show per client request at a time. Essentially, she will write one show for you at a time.
Once Missy has adapted a Bible story into a musical or if it’s in her queue to adapt then she will not re-adapt the same story.
Because of the time and high quality spent on the work, no refunds will be issued.
